Dinner at Craigie on Main

Craigie on Main へ夕食を食べに行きました。蛸のグリルはすごく柔らかかったです。 Tonight we went for dinner at Craigie on Main.  We like their Sunday brunch, but this is our first time for dinner.  Grilled octopus was very tender.

ホームメードのテリーヌ３種。１つはフォアグラ、でも後の２つはなんだったか教えてもらったのですが忘れてしまいました。 Home-made terrine.  One was fois gras, but I forgot what the other two was.

メインディッシュのポーク (Vermont Organic Pork Three Ways: Crispy Suckling Confit, Spice-Crusted Rib, Grilled Belly)。３つの異なる食感と味のポークが楽しめます。 I chose the pork dish as my main dish  (Vermont Organic Pork Three Ways: Crispy Suckling Confit, Spice-Crusted Rib, Grilled Belly).  I enjoyed three different flavors and textures of pork.

ハンガーステーキは特筆するような味ではありませんでした。 My husband ordered Hunger steak.  This dish was nothing to write home about.

デザートのフルーツクリスプ。まずくはないけど、値段の割にいまいち。もう少しデザートにも力を入れてくれたら、さらにレストランの人気が上がると思うのだけれど。 We shared fruit crisp.  It was not bad, bot not good either, considering its price.  he dessert menu had very limited selections.  I wish they make more efforts on their desserts as well.  Overall, it was not bad at all, but I will stick to their brunch.
