Today we suddenly decided to go to Portland, Main. It takes approximately 2 hours from Boston by car.
At first, we had lunch at Lobster Shack in Cape Elizabeth. |
This restaurant is located by the sea. |
I've never seen this plant before... |
I thought this was made of wood, but it is actually made of rocks. |
We can also eat inside the building, but most of people were eating outside. |
A miniature light house. |
Steamed lobster. This was OK. |
Where is my lunch?? |
After the lunch, we took a walk in the state park. |
Follow this sign. |
We saw a lot of people enjoying picnics. |
Beautiful view. But we were expecting two light houses (the name of this park is "Two Lights"), but did not see them anywhere... |
What is this plant?? |
Soooo hot! I can't walk any longer!! |
We came to Portland. This is Old Port. |
Berlin Wall. I don't know why it is here... |
I wish I could buy a boat like this one someday... |
We got very thirsty because of the heat and took a break. |
Mango, blackberry and banana smoothie. Yum! |
I didn't know that Portland has the freedom trail as well. |
These buildings look very old and historical. |
Lobster. |
A bank. Nice building. |
Poirot got too tires and slept like a little baby on the way home... |
僕達も五月に行きました。ここの生カキは最近食べた中では最高でした。また行きたい。by E.K.
