Next, we went to Château de Cheverny. |
In 1914, the owner opened the chateau to the public, one of the first to do so. |
Each room is decorated with the collection of furniture, paintings and tapestries. |
The collection of weapons is also exhibited. |
This wedding dress was worn at the current owner's wedding ceremony. |
I wish I had a room like this one when I was a kid. |
We came out from the château and - |
Found a beautiful garden. |
A small fountain. |
Very symmetric structure. |
You are not allowed to climb this big tree (there is a sign) although I was very tempted. I guess everyone feels the same way... |
Swans in the pond. |
By the parking lot, there was a local wine shop. They also offered free wine tasting. |
Wine was very cheap everywhere. Just bought one bottle at this shop. |
