Trip to France Day 3 (3) (Blois)

夕食はホテル付属のレストランで。ミシュラン一つ星ですが、お値段はかなりリーズナブル。二人とも€35の、Prix Fixe メニュー( 前菜、メイン、デザート) にしました。まずは食前酒を頂きます。

Tonight's dinner was at the restaurant in our hotel.  It is the Michelin 1 star restaurant, but their price was very reasonable.  We both ordered the 3-course Prix Fixe menu (appetizer, main, dessert; €35).  This is the apéritif we had.

Amuse bouche No. 1.

Amuse bouche No. 2.

My appetizer, the asparagus dish.  It was very tender, and I enjoyed the strong asparagus flavor.

My husband's appetizer, the fois gras dish.  Looked beautiful, too.

We ordered the local white wine.

I chose fish for my main.  The fish itself was nothing special, but the leek on the plate was sooo good.

My husband tried the sautéed baby pork.  This was the highlight of the dinner!  I have never tasted such tender, juicy meat,  Words cannot express its taste...

My dessert, the poached apple and vanilla ice cream.  It was just OK.  I guess I was too full to fully enjoy the dessert.

My husband selected the chocolate cake.

The inside was like this (not ice cream, but some kind of cream).  It was too sweet for me.

After-dinner coffee.  This restaurant/hotel is not conveniently located for tourists, but the restaurant was full (I believe they are just local people who came here to have dinner).  It seemed a very popular place (for local people).
