This is the Taiwanese style burger. |
Pork and pickled vegetables are in the steamed bun. Yum, yum. |
The shao-bing with five spiced beef sandwich. I think the one at Chung Shin Yuan tastes better. |
The fried dough. We dipped it into a bowl of soy bean milk. The soy milk served here was very good - it smelled roasted soy beans. |
For lunch, we went to have dim sum at Lunasia Chinese Cuisine. I went to quite a few dim sum places in LA, but they were all much better than what we have in Boston. Our friend said this was recently opened and very good, so I was very excited to try this place. |
The chicken feet. |
The shape of the foot remained intact. A bit gross to me... |
The shrimp dumplings. Shrimp was very plump. |
The pork shaomai. The pork was so juicy that my mouth was filled with the juice after one bite. Sooo good. |
The pan-fried turnip cakes. |
My favorite, deep fried dumpling made with sticky rice and filled with pork and vegetables. |
The Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce. |
The crispy shrimp rolls. |
Diced shrimp and some vegetables were wrapped with the very crispy dough. This was very tasty. |
The rice noodles with shrimp. |
The steamed spareribs with black bean sauce. The meat was extremely tender - totally different from the one we generally get in Boston.. |
The Chiu-Chow style pork dumplings. |
In addition to pork meat, it had Chinese sausages, peanuts, etc and was very good, too!! |
The beef balls. I was too full to taste this one.. |
