 今日はボストンへ戻る日ですが、その前にまず、友人宅の近所にある日系のスーパーマーケット、ミツワへお買い物に行きました。開店と同時に入店し、パン屋さんでウグイスあんぱんとフルーツのパンを買って朝ごはん。Today we had to go back to Boston, but before leaving NJ, we went to a Japanese supermarket, Mitsuwa, near our friends' place.  その後、お正月用品の買出しなどをして、フードコートのお店が開くまで日本の新聞を読んだりしながら休憩。お昼はいつものように山頭火のラーメン。これは醤油ラーメンです。日本のラーメンとは比べようもありませんが、まあまあおいしいです。いつ来てもこのお店は長蛇の列。Then we did some grocery shopping, and took a break, reading Japanese newspapers, etc. And at lunch time, we ordered the ramen noodles at the food court. It does not taste as good as ramen in Japan, but is decent enough. This noodle shop is always very popular and you have to wait in a long line... |
