In Paris, we stayed at Hôtel Fontaines du Luxembourg Saint-Germain. It is located very close to Jardin du Luxembourg and also in a very short walk to Boulevard Saint-Germain. From CDG airport, you can just take RER B line and very convenient. We always stay in the Saint-Germain area in Paris. |
La Conciergerie, a former royal palace and was also used as prison during French Revolution. |
Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris. It has been a long time since I visited here last time. |
Very detailed decorations. |
After that, we took Metro to go to the restaurant that we booked for dinner. |
Restaurant Jadis. A small bistro-style restaurant. |
Ham, mushrooms and white asparagus. Nothing very special. |
Smoked trout and potatoes with spinach sauce. I think it needed a little more salt in the sauce. |
Bacon. |
It came with the skin, as well. This skin was very crispy and delicious! |
I ordered red snapper, but this is what was served. So I was wondering what this was and then.... |
Red snapper came in a separate plate. It was unique and tasted well, too. |
Dessert. The hot chocolate sauce was poured into the plate containing various nuts and dried fruits at our table. |
