Tonight we came to Sushi Island. It's been a long time since we came here last time. The chef who makes sushi is Japanese, so I can trust. |
Grilled sea snail on the shell. It was crunchy and tasty. |
Steamed monkfish liver with ponzu sauce. Very creamy and rich. |
Fried (tempura) whiting fillets. |
I ordered the steamed eggs in broth, and it was served in this beautiful container. |
The eggs were too hard for me (I prefer more broth), but not bad. |
We ordered several kinds of sushi (mostly from "Today's Special"). |
Seared sable fish. It was fatty and good! |
Spicy octopus. |
Grilled conch. |
Jumbo sweet shrimp. It was very sweet. |
The chef fried the head of sweet shrimp and gave it to us. I don't think American people eat shrimp head, but actually it is very good and I love it. |
Two kinds of rolls (tuna and sour plum paste/cucumber). |
