 ボストンはここ何日かすごく寒い日が続いています (と言うか、この冬は例年に比べてかなり寒いような...)。朝晩は -20 度近くまで気温が下がり、日中の最高気温も -10 度位までしか上がりません。地球温暖化はどうなったのでしょうか？It has been brutally cold in the Boston area lately (I think in this winter it is colder than usual..). The temperature goes down to below 0 °F in the mornings/at nights, and even during the day time, it is at 10~15 °F. What happens to the global warming?? |
 こんなに寒いと Poirot も外に遊びに行くよりも彼の指定席、電気ストーブの前でお昼寝するほうがいいみたい。前足に顔をうずめて寝ている様子が笑えます。It is too cold for Poirot to go out and play, and he prefers to stay at his favorite spot (in front of the electric heater). He looks very funny when he sleeps like this, burying his face between his front legs. |
 カメラを向けると一瞬目を覚ましましたがその後すぐまた眠ってしまいました。早く暖かくなって外を走り回れるようになったらいいのにね。When I tried to take a picture of him, he woke up for a second, but then immediately fell asleep again. Hope it gets warmer soon so that you can run around outside. |

ボストンも寒いんですね。日本も寒いですが、－20度、想像できないです。
Poirot の横にあるのは彼の大のお気に入りのボールです。牛、豚、羊の3種類あって（写真は牛）、今までに10個以上買いました。どこに隠しても必ず見つけて持って来ます（クッキーがもらえるから）。クッキーが欲しい時は、頼んでもいないのに目の前までボールを持って来るて、クッキーのおねだりをします。
