Happy Valentine's Day!

今日はバレンタインズデーということで、夫が会社の帰りにケーキを買って来てくれました。Flour Bakery + Cafe というケーキ屋さんで、彼の会社のすぐ横にあります。アメリカでは男性が女性に贈り物をするのが主流のようで、会社でも同僚の女性達宛にバラの花束が送られてきてました。 My husband got some cakes for me to celebrate the Valentine's day.  He went to Flour Bakery + Cafe next to his office.

クレームブリュレ。まあまあ。 The crème brûlée.  This was so so.

レモンタルト。これは酸っぱくてさっぱりしていておいしい。 The lemon tart.  This was sour and refreshing.  I liked it.

ボストンクリームパイ。これはかなり甘くて一口でギブアップ。でもわざわざ買って来てくれて (花束ももらいました) うれしかったです。ごちそうさま＆ありがとう。 The Boston cream pie.  This was too sweet for me and I took only one bite.  But it was very nice of him to remember the Valentine's day and to buy cakes (+ flowers) for me (I was not expecting).  Thanks!
