Early Dinner at Exchange Street Bistro

今週末は Labor Day の祝日のため、明日から３連休です！私の会社は今日は特別に早く終業したため、午後１時前には帰宅することができました！

It's the Labor Day weekend, and our company closed earlier today! So I was home before 1 pm!

明日はニューヨークに行くため早起きしなければならないので、夕食は早めにとることにして、近所の Exchange Street Bistro というところに行きました。ここは月曜から金曜の毎日４時から７時までの間、アルコール類や軽食が格安で楽しめます。 Since we have to wake up early tomorrow to go to NY, we decided to have early dinner at Exchange Street Bistro in our neighborhood. This restaurant has Happy Hour from 4 to 7 pm every weekday.

ドラフトビールは一杯＄２です。 A glass of draft beer costs only $2.

でも私はあまりお酒が飲めないのでアイスティーを注文。 But I don't drink alcohol and ordered iced tea.

一応パンも出てきました。 They gave us some bread.

これはどれも１つ＄１です。それぞれ２つずつ注文しました。 Each of these dishes is only for $1. We ordered 2 of each.

サーモンスライダーとパイナップルサルサ。パイナップルサルサはちょっと私には甘すぎでした。 Grilled Salmon Slider with Pineapple Salsa. Pineapple salsa was sweet, which I was not very fond of.

スモークブリスケットのタコス。ブリスケットがスモーキーでとてもおいしい！（１つたったの＄１とは思えない！） Smoked Brisket Taco. Brisket in the tacos was very flavorful and I liked it a lot (especially when it costs only $1 a piece!).

お茄子の薄切りをまいてグリルしたもの。これもとてもおいしかったです。 Eggplant Rollatini. This was also very good.

帆立のベーコン巻きと、マッシュルームにカニの実を詰めたもの。この２つはとても小さくて味もいまいち。次からはたぶん注文しないと思います。 Scallop Wrapped in Bacon and Crab Meat Stuffed Mushroom Cup. These were very tiny, and I would skip them next time.

ハンバーガーとフライドポテト。ちょっと加熱し過ぎのような気がしますが、値段の割には（$５）おいしかったです。すぐ近所に住んでいるので、もっとちょくちょく訪れたいと思います。 Hamburger with French Fries. The meat was a little bit overcooked, but considering the price($5), it was not bad at all. We should come here more often since we live very close!
