Lunch at Legal Sea Foods

Copley Place にお買い物に行ったついでに、中にある Legal Sea Foods でお昼ご飯。ボストンでは有名なシーフードレストランで、観光客にも人気です。ボストンとその周辺（東海岸）にいくつかお店があります。私たちはめったに来ませんが、ここのギフトカードをもらったのでそれを使うためにやって来ました。 Since we went to Copley Place for shopping, we decided to have lunch at Legal Sea Foods located inside the mall. This is the famous seafood restaurant in Boston and also very popular among tourists. There are several other locations in and around Boston. We rarely come here, but today we had a gift card to use!

かわいらしい魚の絵のついたお皿に載ったパン。パンはそんなに悪くないです。 Bread on a cute plate.  Bread was not too bad.

私は蟹の身入りのシーザーサラダを注文。アメリカでサラダを注文すると大量のドレッシングがかかっていて、ドレッシングの味しかわからないので、ドレッシングの量を少なくしてくれと頼みました。蟹の身がたっぷり入って、ドレッシングの量もちょうど良く、とてもおいしかったです。 I ordered Caesar salad with Maine crab meat.  I don't like too much dressing, so I asked to put less dressing.  A lot of tasty crab meat and a good amount of dressing.  I liked it very much.

夫はクラムチャウダーを注文。アサリの身がたっぷり入っていてこれもおいしい。 My husband ordered a cup of clam chowder.  Big chunks of clams.  Very tasty, too.

これも夫の注文したイカフライ。ここのイカフライは衣はさくっとしていて私好みでしたが、衣とイカが分離しているというか、衣のつきが悪くて食べにくかったです。衣の量もちょっと多すぎかも。でも、全体的にはシーフードは新鮮で、何を注文しても大きなはずれはないと思います。 This was also my husband's order, fried calamari.  It was crispy, which I liked, but too much dough.  But overall, seafood is fresh and you won't get "a bad food" at this restaurant.
