The other day when my husband passed by Sun Kong Restaurant (which is near our home and we frequent for dim sum brunch) in the evening, he saw many (Chinese) people eating there. So we thought this must be a good sign and decided to try their dinner menu for the first time.
まずは私の大好きなスープ、西湖牛肉羹。これは East Ocean City 程ではありませんがなかなかおいしかったのでほかのお料理にも期待が高まります。 At first we ordered my favorite soup, minced beef soup. It was not as good as the one at East Ocean City, but better than that at most of the restaurants that I’ve tried. |
これは豆苗 (エンドウの苗) のソテー。にんにくたっぷりでまずまず。ちなみにこの野菜は値段が高いのか、どこのレストランでも結構な値段を取られます。 This is the sauteed pea sprouts. Lots of garlic. Not bad. |
