Lunch at Sichuan Gourmet

今日は、会社の同僚たちが(少し早い)私の誕生日を祝ってくれるため、Billerica にある、みんな大好き、老四川(Sichuan Gourmet)へ行って来ました。Framingham と Brookline にも支店があります。ちなみにここのオーナーは夫の大学院時代のクラスメートで、彼がお店にいるときはいつも1,2品おまけしてくれます。

Today my colleagues invited me to everyone's favorit, Sichuan Gourmet in Billerica, to celebrate my (early) birthday.  This restaurant has brunches in Framingham and Brookline as well.  By the way, the owner of this restaurant and my husband were the classmates in a grad school and if he is in the restaurant, we always get one dish or two for free.

夫妻肺片(Sliced Roast Beef & Tendon with Chili Sauce)。


This dish is one of must-have items in this restaurant. Spicy, but good.
麻辣鮮筍尖(Fresh Bamboo Shoots with Spicy Wonder Sauce)。


This is also spicy, but different kind of spiciness from the above dish.
肉末泡姜豆(Minced Pork with Sichuan Long Green Beans)。


This is my favorite dish.  I love the sourness of green beans.
水煮魚片(Fish Fillets & Napa Cabbage with Spicy Chili Sauce)。


It may be difficult to see in this picture, but this dish had a lot of red chilli pepper. Very spicy, but you can't stop eating it.
干煸四季豆(Sichuan Style String Beans)。


This is the only non-spicy dish we had today.  Very crunchy.
老四川雞(Old Sichuan Chicken)。


This fried checken was also spicy but yummy.  You never get tired of this restaurant.  This was great lunch. Thank you for celebrating my birthday!

  3. 今回注文したもの以外のお勧めは、紅焼獅子頭(Meat Ball Sichuan Style;辛くない)、筍尖肉絲(Shredded Pork with Fresh Bamboo Shoots;辛くない)、螞蟻上樹(Cellophane Noodles & Minced Pork;辛い)等です。でもどれを食べても大概おいしいです。
