Power Outage

ボストンはこの４日間、毎日雨です。そのせいなのわかりませんが、今日の夕方ご飯を炊こうと炊飯器のスイッチを入れた後すぐ、停電に！もちろんご飯はおろかお湯も沸かせないので近所のメキシカンのファーストフード店、Qdoba で夕食をとりました。

It's been raining for 4 days in Boston. I don't know if it is because of rain, we had a power outage when I was going to start cooking dinner. We can't even boil water without electricity, we went to Qdoba, a Mexican fastfood restaurant, near our house for dinner.

私は“Craft 2”というメニューをチョイス。７つあるアイテムの中から好きな２つを選べます。私が選んだのは"Grilled Quesadilla" と "Naked Taco Salad"。 I ordered "Craft 2" which allows you to choose 2 items out of 7. My choices were "Grilled Quesadilla" and "Naked Taco Salad".

夫は“Ancho Chile BBQ Burrito”という、巨大なブリトーをオーダー。ちょっとわびしい夕食でした。夕食後、家に戻ったときには停電は復旧されてました。よかった、よかった。 My husband ordered "Ancho Chile BBQ Burrito", which was huge. When we came home after dinner the power was back on!
