To celebrate my husband's birthday, we came to Oga's Japanese Cuisine in Natick to eat good sushi. The owner/chef is Japanese, so we can eat very good sushi. Only problem is that it is a little bit far away from our home... |
Amuse bouche, a fried wonton. |
We also made a separate order of seaweed salad. |
Oh-toro (fatty tuna berry). Sooo good. |
Chu-toro (marbled tuna berry). I like oh-toro, but like chu-toro even more. |
Wild red snapper. |
Wild yellowtail. |
The one in the back is horse mackerel. The one in front is swordfish (?). They all not only taste great but look beautiful. |
Mackerel delivered from Japan. |
Sea eel. This sea eel was amazingly delicious. |
The last one was the hand roll with finely chopped tuna. Ahhhh, everything was so good. Both my husband and I were very satisfied and happy. |
After the dinner, to enhance our digestion system, we went to near-by Natick Mall. Although we were over-stuffed, we ordered a cup of frozen yogurt at Red Mango in the mall. |
We added a lot of fruit toppings. Since it was frozen yogurt, it was very light. We ate way too much tonight... |
