We came back to our hotel to take a shower and then went out again for dinner. Tonight we visited Au Cinquième Péché, a tiny French bistro ~20 seats (plus several outside tables). |
Today’s menu was written on the blackboard. Five different dishes were offered for appetizers, mains, and desserts (maybe only 4 desserts?). |
At first my husband ordered Belle Gueule Pilsner, the beer brewed in Montreal. |
Baguette was very good. |
The amuse-bouche was chickpea paste. It sounded like humus, but tasted different. |
It was fresh and not bad. |
My husband was disappointed with the dessert we had, so suggested to stop by at Suite 88 Chocolatier on the way to our hotel. |
Various kinds of very beautiful chocolates were displayed in the showcases, but neither of us is very fond of chocolates, so we just bought one box of chocolates called “Mosaïques” as gift and decided to get some gelato instead. |
Many flavors were available and we chose the mango flavor. |
