今日は夫の家族とともに総勢11名で萬珍樓というレストランへお昼ご飯を食べにやってきました。ここは以前にも来たことのある中国北方料理のお店です。 Today, 11 of us (with my husband's family) came to the restaurant (I don't know the English name..) which serves Northern Chinese style food for lunch. We came here 2 years ago as well. |
全員が揃うのを蔥油餅等をつまみながら待ちます。 We ordered several small dishes while we were waiting for everyone to arrive. This is the scallion pancake. |
北方烙餅も追加で注文。 We also ordered this Northern Chinese style pancake. It was very chewy and flaky. |
ソフトシェルクラブの揚げ物 (四季軟殼蟹)。蟹大好きなのでうれしい! The fried soft shell crab. I love crabs, so was very happy with this dish. |
蒸し海老 (圓籠蒸蝦)。身がぷりぷりです。 The steamed shrimp. The shrimp was very succulent and plump. |
そしてお待ちかねの北京ダック! And here came the Peking duck! |
お次はドイツ風 (本当にドイツ風なのかは分かりませんが) 豚のすね肉 (德國豬腳)。 This dish is named "German style" pork leg. |
名前を聞いて"ドイツ風~?"とかなり怪しんだのですが、食べてみると脂がのっていてすっごくおいしい! I was doubtful about "German style", but actually it was nicely fatty, tender and delicious. |
さらに小龍包。皮は薄くておいしかったのですが中の具の味付けがやっぱり鼎泰豊にはかないません。 And the xiaolongbao. I like the skin which was very thin and fresh, but the filling was not s tasty as the ones at Din Tai Fung... |
これは干海老と糸瓜のソテー (櫻花蝦絲瓜)。かなりあっさりしています。 This is the sauteed dried shrimp and luffa. Very lightly flavored. |
次に出てきたのは、 客家スタイルの炒め物 (客家小炒)。イカや豆干、葱が入ってました。 This is the Hakka style pan fried dish that had squid, dried tofu, scallion, etc. |
揚げた魚に甘酢ソースをかけたもの (糖醋黃魚)。酢豚風の味で、私の好みではなかったのですが夫の家族には好評でした。 The fried whole fish with sweet and sour sauce. It was too sweet for my but other people (except my husband) liked it. |
これは先ほどの北京ダックの残りの鴨肉とキャベツを炒めたもの (鴨絲高麗菜)。 The sauteed Chinese cabbage and duck meat - this duck meat was the leftover from the Peking duck we had earlier. |
食後にチョコレートのデザート。 And the dessert. |
